Austrian Olive Drab Nylon Poncho

Austria really loves copying US equipment, and this rain poncho is no exception. As far as we can tell, this is a direct copy of a US Vietnam-War-issued poncho. And it really does look the part — all that's missing is a bit of mud and a crusty spec ops guy smoking a big ol' stogie in the rain.

Specs

  • Genuine Austrian Bundesheer Issue
  • Nylon shell for water repellency and durability
  • Almost exact clone of Vietnam-era US Poncho
  • Eyelets for makeshift shelter usage
  • Hood features cinch to keep your luscious locks from getting soaked in the rain
  • One size fits all

Condition

The Austrian ponchos are from issued stock that has seen use and exposure to the elements. We've sorted out anything with cuts or tears. However, some ponchos may have small holes or wear marks on their periphery (from branches, etc.). Note that the seam tape on some ponchos is deteriorating due to age, but this should not cause too much degradation in performance.
